I had a gimbal overload on my mavic pro every time I switched the drone on.. I was expecting to pay for either a ribbon... or ribbon and motor replacement. I took my mavic to Daniel at Scotland Unmanned Aerial Services for repair. The very next day I got my mavic back from Daniel repaired and now works perfectly. Daniel explained that there was no need to replace any parts after testing the cable and motor assembly and that the issue was trapped debris gimbal. Total cost £20... it’s nice to find a company that play’s fair and doesn’t try to rip you off by replacing parts unnecessarily... Well done Scotland Unmanned Aerial Services. What a top bloke Daniel is. Repaired my Mavic Pro from what i thought was a lost cause after a really nasty crash. His... knowledge and skill is fantastic. he offered different options and didn't just go and quote the most expensive option. The turnaround was really quick. I was travelling solo in Scotland when I crashed my Mavic Pro into the side of a ridge in Loch Cuisak. The gimbal was... damaged and I needed someone to take care of my drone quickly so I could continue on my trip. Not only was Daniel quick to reply but he also understood how hard it is for a traveller to repair their equipment in another country. He picked me up from a train station and within a couple of hours diagnosed and fixed the entire gimbal for a very reasonable price. Danny also went the extra mile to teach me many tips on how to maintain, shoot footage, and proved he had a strong technical knowledge of how drones really work. I was kept updated at all times with the work going on and a realistic timescale including updating me on a Sunday. Value for money - second to none Service- better than any major player out there. My phantom 3 committed suicide in front of my eyes ( tried to take off from glass table) totally my fault, which... smashed all the blades ripped a motor out of the body and cracked various other areas, I looked for someone to repair it and found Daniel. Told him about my disaster and impending holiday and left it with him with fingers crossed. 3 days later my phantom was back with me looking better than it did originally!!! Cannot recommend ‘Scotland Unmanned' any higher! I crashed my Phantom 4 thought it was a right-off, smashed the shell,... broken camera and gimble and Danny managed to repair it all so the drone is back to new condition for a very reasonable price. Look them up if you need a repair!read more
